Rainfoot lay sunbathing in the warm afternoon sun. It pierced through his gray pelt and soaked into his muscles. He had spent that morning chasing off a rouge that had wondered into the territory and he had pulled something while doing so. So the sun felt amazing on his legs. He sighed and watched the rest of the clan do their own thing. He wanted to get up and do something. It wasn't like him to just lay around, even if the rest did feel nice. Hopefully his leg would heal up soon so that he could do something.

"Rainfoot" Honeystar mewed a quiet greeting, slipping out of her den to see the warrior sprawled on the ground relaxing. Her orange tail twitched as she settled down into a crouch beside him, her amber gaze surveying the camp. "How are you feeling? ThunderClan's lucky to have you to defend them. Rogues are a nuisance even if they don't mean any harm" the young ThunderClan leader added, her thoughts stressed as she thought of any loss of prey.

Rainfoot nodded his head to his leader. "Stupid mangy rouges" he muttered. "I don't think we'll be seeing him again anytime soon, though. I think I nearly scared him out of his fur!" He purred. "Anyway, I'm feeling better. If I hadn't pulled this stupid leg I would have done more than chase him off! Oh well. How are you doing today, Honeystar?"

"Just make sure you rest it off instead of pushing yourself and making it worse for a longer period of time." Honeystar told him, enjoying the warm breeze flutter through. Green-leaf was her favorite season, like most other warriors. The prey was plentiful and there was much less to worry about, of course she still didn't want any of her clan wounded. "I'm doing well though," the orange and white she-cat answered, "seeing my clan thrive makes me happy." ]

"I actually feel a lot better as I've been resting. Hopefully in the next day or two I can get back on track." He said, stretching out a little. "Oh, and that's good to hear. I'm sure any leader would be happy about that. Greenleaf is always good for the clan, though. Plenty of prey and the weather feels fantastic."

Honeystar nodded her head slowly, "That's good news then." She gave her chest a quick lick, gathering herself into a sitting position and gazing out into the forest. The clan was well fed, and had plenty of prey to last them in the fresh-kill pile. Her warriors were out patrolling borders and cleaning out the dens. Her orange and white fur shone hot under the suns rays and her whiskers quivered slightly as she thought of ways to cool down.
