1. Basic Rules
   1. ? No swearing, especially AT members. Not only is it inappropriate, but it's also rude. Just don't do it.
      
   2. ? Keep things PG. If it's questionable, then you probably shouldn't be saying it. This means no talking about sex.
      
   3. X No threats. If you make any kind of threats towards another member, it will result in automatic ban. This includes threats of violence AND encouraging someone to hurt themselves/someone else.
      
   4. * If a staff member asks you to do something, please just listen. If you object or have a problem, please come to us and let us know in a civil way. We will try our best to make everyone happy and to make decisions in everyone's best interest.
      
   5. X No insulting or making rude comments. This means no racism, no sexism, no judging on people at all. Any rude comments may result in temporary/permanent ban.
      
   6. * If you have a question about ANY of the rules, please contact the admins via private message. We ask that you do not make a public statement about it in the threads to avoid drama.

2. Role Play Rules
   
   1. Basic Rules
   2. * No Spamming (See Shout box rules for more information)
   3. X Again, PG people. Don't talk about how your cats mate. You may talk about kit birth scenes, but not in great detail.
      
   4. * No God-Modding. This means no controlling someone else's character or making your character invincible.
      
   5. * No Mary sue's. Those are boring. Give your character a few flaws. It's very okay to not be perfect!
      
   6. * Keep it realistic. No purple flying cats, please.
      
   7. * Keep your character names as close to the books as possible. "Brickfur" "Roadtail" and "Rhinoear" aren't names we would approve of. If you need help with a name or if one is questionable, please ask.
      
   8. * One character per account. If you are a queen with kits, you have the option of keeping the kits on the same profile but must make separate accounts once they become apprentices.
      
      
   9. If the position is open and if you have decent role playing skills, you may have a high position (leader, deputy, medicine cat, or medicine cat apprentice). But you may only have one and once that cat dies, you must wait until a few more people have gone through high positions before you request to be one again.
      
      
   10. * No double posting. If you have something more to say, you may edit your post. But wait for at least one other person to reply before you post again. Out of decency, we also ask that if there is more than two people in the thread that you don't "leave them behind".
       
       
   11. * We ask that you don't pre-plan mates. We want you to actually role play with other characters for a while before making any official claims.
       
       
   12. * Kits cannot have crushes or mates. Apprentices may have crushes, but not mates. Warriors may have either.
   13. * If you have kits, please no more than 4 kits per litter. And you may not have another litter until the previous one has become warriors.
       
       
   14. * No text talk. We ask that you try to spell as best as you can and make your posts as grammatically correct as you can. Little mistakes are fine, but do your best.
       
   15. * No making other specie accounts such as foxes, badgers, two legs, ect. Cats only. Exceptions may apply IF a plot calls for it.

3. Profile Rules
   
   1. Basic Rules
   2. * Your profile name must be your current cat's name. If their name changes, we ask that your display name changes, too.
   3. *For simplicity sake, we ask that you don't "decorate" your name with symbols such as "*, ~, <3, ect"
   4. *Your signature must include a picture of your character. We ask that the picture isn't too big to where it stretches a page. We also ask that the picture be of a real cat and not a drawing. You may, though, include a drawing in your avatar if you wish.

4. Shoutbox Rules (Failure to follow these rules will result in automatic suspension or even total ban from the shoutbox)
   

1. Basic Rules
2. * Although it might be difficult because of how it's set up, don't try to impersonate anyone.
   
3. * Please don't role play. That is what the boards are for. The shout out box is for casual chat and that's it.
   
4. X No trolling
   
5. * If you see a troll, ignore them. Do NOT feed the trolls.
   
6. * No spamming. This means no excessive posting/pointless posts (i.e: "HI" "HI" "HI" "A" "B" C")
7. *No advertising! We have a board for that.
